As a Non-Traditional Church, serving the Kingdom and loving people is our priority. We want to offer a different perspective of God that does not devalue humanity but values it, celebrates it and gives humanity the ability to live and create with freedom. God has breathed into us His spirit, given us life and by his Spirit, we must now hon the gift(s) of life with helping people find their purpose and teaching them to soar to their highest place. The core relationship that we have with God is not entirely need based but has the potential to evolve into a mature relationship with a focus of producing for God rather than getting from God.
It is my personal aspiration to build NuJerusalem’s brand on the concept of service. We present an open forum dialog that is both safe and inviting, where the goal is to Prepare People for their Purpose so they can Produce. An integral part of this journey is developing greater intimacy with God by examining the bible untethered to the traditional lens.
I have embraced my personal intimacy to the extent that I can hear all of the different philosophies of the world and not have the core of my faith shaken. One of the core goals of NuJerusalem is to develop individuals to have their own personal relationship with God to the point where their purpose is birthed and their intimacy with God is enhanced.

We embrace the concept of grace as a deterrent for being judgmental towards people.

Example: My brother lived as a "transgender female" and he loved our mother to the point that going to church with her meant facing ridicule from the congregation. So, I asked the Pastor if I could address the congregation and he agreed. So, I asked them, who is the bravest person in this room and would any of you be willing to go into a place where you were reviled and unwelcomed, because of love? I continued; my brother is here under those conditions because he loves our mother. Don't you think it's strange that love brings him to the house of love and instead he feels reviled and unwelcomed.

We Believe that there are people like Noah, David, Samson, Paul and even the Wright Brothers, who all performed extraordinary feats in the world, that have global impact. While everyone will not function on that level, those that do, need to have a sanctuary place that nurtures their particular intimacy with God, which may be outside the traditional norms.

We Believe in the word of God and building a relationship with God that crosses traditional boundaries. Intimacy with God builds muscles that will strengthen your walk and purpose in life. Learning to listen quietly before God yields unimaginable fruit.

We Believe that the value in the 66 books of the bible are unquestioned, however we equally believe that our lives continue to write new books ordained by God that will continually inspire and illuminate the lives of men until Christ returns.
